booraadley:

Office angel in black
Mourning the birth of sophistication,
Spoke to me between digitalis openings.

This park walk and talk
Settled down by the fountains.
Swotting flies,
Dreaming of drifts abroad.

And swans curved double to preen albescent wings.
Their poses steeped in webbed yogic logic,
Mirrored across the water by a jogger,
Stretching to reach her toes-
Her limits.

Shivering frames called for movement;
As we passed Diana's playground
We breathed in this funny June rain air
And Queensway 'Salam-ed' to us,
All Silver domes and station closures.

We followed the kebab route.
Weaving in and out of ice rink guardians
Who corrode women with their eyes,
And young girls skipping to acid signals-
They complain to gain.

At Bayswater tube o'clock
Amongst leaflets and stationary nomads
We offer gallery meetings and
Boredom.itches.please.let's.do.something.get.dressed.up.and.see.the.others.Yes.Let's.
Stability lends flow to spontaneity.

What I wouldn't give to have a mundane job.
